Unbelievable, but true – we’re rolling again!
Vitaralino came home with the steering gear centered just before packing. Nothing grinds anymore, our nerves are calmed and we can finally look forward to our vacation without any worries 😃😃
We could have done without the tight box, but if we’re going on an adventure, we want to do it properly. In retrospect, the fact that the bike was dragging made us realize once again how lucky we were to get through the Strategica 😲
Now we are finally on the road and looking forward to all the impressions that await us over the next two weeks.

As is the case on the first day south – first you have to make kilometers. That’s why there’s not much to report here yet and no flood of pictures. The journey went well, despite several breakdowns (from others!) and minor traffic jams. The weather is very promising: sunshine, blue skies, steady temperatures of around 20 degrees – it can stay like this. Tomorrow will be more colorful, I promise – we’re already looking forward to croissants and finally some really delicious café au lait 😊☕😊

Of course, we couldn’t miss out on coffee today either: in the morning we had our first pick-me-up at the bakery – unfortunately only a 2.5/5 on our scale. We tried our luck again at the rest stop on the way… we should have left it alone, because the result was so bad that even one point would be too much 🙈.

Conclusion: we don’t particularly like driving on the highway. At least we now know that the Vitaralino has a light – in the form of a small orange petrol pump, for when it’s getting close and would like to be fed. Thrills on the side 😃
