Vacation – but this time with Vitaralino! 🚙⛰️

The idea: get out of the daily grind and into the mountains. We roll southwest, plunge into the high mountains, follow old border ridges and gravel roads (where permitted), get a whiff of the sea air in between and later work our way north again on high alpine roads. We won’t tell you the exact locations until the posts – the route remains part of the adventure.

Only… the dress rehearsal was more drama than documentation:
– Sudden loss of coolant – thermostat housing cracked, spare part nowhere to be found.
– Two gaskets? Also not available.
– Our mechanic Adrian worked his magic and organized parts.
– New tires for the rough stuff: 460 € later, it looks seriously off-road capable.
– And then this: Left front wheel rubs in the wheel arch. Suspicion: The steering gear replaced in 2023 was not properly centered. One week before departure. 😬

So Regine and I are on standby between our maps, toolbox and Instagram stories. The coffee scale has been dusted off, the playlist is in place – only one question remains unanswered:

Are we heading for Mont Blanc on Saturday… or the workshop stage?
Stay tuned – the adventure may start even before the first bend. ☕️🗺️
